Lifestyle

Judging by the advertisements, in my primers are either suave, silver-haired smoothies whose trim figures and 'ageless' 'leisure' attire are neatly complemented by their bulging purses and wallets; or pitifully cheerful (but potentially confused) people who need comfy slippers and wear swimming costumes in their walk-in showers and baths.

Not much like reality is it?

Here at in my prime we aim to steer clear of stereotypes. As we see it this is the age where diversity comes into its own. Whereas we don't fully support the idea that you should stop caring about what other people think, we do know that this is the age at which you should be as daring as you please, as confident as you can be and as outrageous as you are able to be - in short, you should aim to be who you want.

Alongside this goes doing what you want - with the proviso, of course, that it shouldn't damage anyone else. We know from friends and colleagues who are in my primers that the types of lifestyle you can lead at this stage of life are limitless in their variety. The sorts of interests you can pursue - whether to make money or just for enjoyment, are vast. The range of activities and challenges you can try are almost beyond categorisation - and the amount of enjoyment and satisfaction you can get from them is enormous.

Often all that's holding us back is lack of knowledge or imagination, plus a sneaking worry about getting outside our comfort zone. We'd like you to use this site as a prop and a prompt - helping you to embark upon exciting new experiences and adventures and in so doing, truly making these the best years of your life.
