in my prime is an independent, privately owned organization run by people who are wholeheartedly enthusiastic about being in their prime.
As specialists in issues concerning older workers and the mature market we offer consultancy and development support (group and individual) in a wide range of areas. Our extensive experience and skills – in business, education, training, and personal development – combine with those of our pool of specialist associate advisors to provide us with a vast toolkit to draw from across a wide and diverse spectrum of expertise.
Please note, although we are highly qualified in finance and accountancy, we are not personal financial advisors. We do not have particular products or schemes to promote. Our advice is independent and entirely objective.
Our founders - Richard Ciechan
I
am a qualified accountant and worked for many years in industry at Director level in finance, in human resources, in systems design and in business development. I followed this with a successful career in academia as a university lecturer, teaching mainly on postgraduate management courses, and combining this with my own consultancy business which I now focus on full-time.
Our founders - Dianne Bown-Wilson
My background encompasses senior marketing and management roles within a range of public and private sector organisations. In 2000, I set up as an independent consultant advising businesses on issues of marketing, management and motivation. Along the way I also trained as an executive coach. Alongside my work with in my prime, I am currently undertaking PhD research at Cranfield School of Management investigating career development in older managers.

"This increase in the life span and the number of our senior citizens presents this nation with increased opportunities: the opportunity to draw upon their skill and sagacity- and the opportunity to provide the respect and recognition they have earned. It is not enough for a great nation merely to have added new years to life- our objective must also be to add new life to those years."
John F. Kennedy, Special Message to Congress 1963
